First Question
Why is it when you are waiting on an email from someone about something semi-important that either they dont respond quickly or that the email takes forever to get to you?

Sigh Sigh Sigh
So I went to work today. Found out that my profile did not get changed so I will still be attempting the bike test. Dont know how good Ill do but I did practice for it today. I was on a stationary bike (like the test) I got up to level 14 for a few minutes and my heart rate stayed about 161. My max is 165 so with that I dont know what my score would be but I would assume it would be better than a 23. So I dont know what my score will be or if I will pass. So after finding out my test wont be till sometime next week I'm just happy knowing I have a little more time to train for it. And the reason for the title just One More Year Till Im Back Home. Sigh oh the wonderful thoughts.

Quick Post
To all my 2 Fans. Sorry but this is going to be a quick post. Not really much has happend since my last blog except for the following. (Still think I dont have lousy doctors? Just wait!) So I went to fill out my pt test form which ask the following questions. 1. Do you have any illness or limitations not listed on a profile? My Answer No. My problem is listed on my profile. 2. Do you have any of the following symptoms? (there are a couple of them that I cant remember but one that applies to me) Dizziness with chest discomfort, dizziness, lightheaded? My answer is Yes. It is unusal to get dizzy when you are taking you child upstairs or for that matter when you cant keep up with your wife and shes pregnant. (Yes shes already had the baby, no shes not pregnant yet, and yes this has been going on since October she was well in her pregnancy and could have completed a marathon before me.). So I was givin a letter to take to my doctor to have signed saying what I could or could not do for the PT test. Now think about this I am currently on a profile saying No High Impact Activities. So then it goes to the base fitness improvement manager and she says that I should only be doing the bike test. No walking or running. So I think OK all I have to do is get my doctor to clear me for the ergo test. Right? Wrong!!! I go to the doctor today (a whole new person) and he says ok well its been going on since October so lets see if there is something that might be nerological that could be causing you to get dizzy. I say OK and then he walks out of the room to look at my chart. Guess who he brings back with him? You guessed it Dr. Cooke and Dr. Holden. (read previouse posts) so of course they say well it just deconditioning so you should be fine to take your PT test. I ask for the patient advocate and she comes in and doesnt say a word. So now I'm physically cleared by 1 Dr. Cooke and 2 Certified PA's (not sure what that means). Come to find out everyone I can make an appointment with works underneath this Dr. Cooke guy. So what am I to do? It is currently unknown at this time. They have post poned my test for tomorrow but they are going to want me to take the full test soon I am asuming. Now if I do that and fail (which I will because I cant run and they wont give me the time to get it back together) They are talking about taking a stripe. That would suck I wouldnt loose that much money but I would loose something that I worked hard for and earned. (I know God had a lot to do with that since I barely passed on my first time testing). I would rather they kick me out then to take the stripe away but I guess a process is a process. So I guess if I go back and they don't find anything else wrong with me then they may or may not talk about a MEB (Medical Examination Board) which would most likly medically discharge me. Not that I would fight it that hard if they said they had wanted it to happen today. I would like to spend my last year in the Air Force since that would be the end of my enlistment. But I guess if God wants me home before that then he'll see that I get there one way or another.
So this was a quick post sorry if I didnt cover everything completly. If you have questions just leave them in the comments.

Its FAnd riday
Wow I cant type today. My fingers keep hitting the wrong keys LOL. So today I went to work and had to do a MOC (or practice) if you will PT (physical Training) test. I failed misserably. Now for a little back ground (and Im open for suggestions). I have failed my PT numerous times (not really trying to get better) but none the less in July of last year I changed flights. I had a supervisor that really cared about me working out and his protege also cared. So they took me under their wings and I began to workout. First we decided I should work out 2 times a day 5 days a week. So it began. (By the way this is all after my first failure in this flight). So it is now the middle of October and I had been doing the 2 times a day 5 days a week thing for almost three months but its again time for a MOC PT test. (A pt test consists of a 1.5 mile run 1 minute of push-ups and 1 minute of sit-ups with an abdominal tape measure.) So the first thing we start with is the abdominal tape test. My tape is 39". (I know its big but for me it was a big improvement). Then the pushups out of a needed 55 I fell 11 short and did 44. Next is the sit-ups out of the nearly 60 needed I did all of them. Perfect score for those. Now its time for my run. (The main event. I should add here that the score is determined because they set a numerical value to each part of the test. The run is worth 50 points (have to have less than 9:39 for the whole run) The abdominal measurement is worth 30 points (a perfect 32" waist for the guys is what they are looking for) The Push-ups and sit-ups is worth 10 points each (you dont get extra points if you do better than the recommened). So I run my fastest time ever. I did a 13:25 run. (No land record but extremely fast for me). What was my total score you ask? It wasn an oustanding 73.5. To pass the PT test you need at least a 75 or better. I was a point and a half a way. (Man that hurts my feelings). So its only a MOC TEST OK well the next week I get sick (common cold) then the week after that I am suppose to test. So I go and do a few push-ups and I feel something is wrong (not only did I do less than thirty but I just felt bad) so I stopped my test and went to the urgent care center on base. Get treated for dehydration, and have a slew of blood tests taken. Well they put me on a profile (a limitation of what you can do at PT) and told me to make a follow up with my doctor. So I did and the Dr I got was Dr Cooke. Now he said that it was just deconditioning but wanted me to take a stress test and set me on another profile. So I call the lab to schedule my stress test and they tell me they have nothing open. So I call the nurse and tell her my profile is going to expire and I cant get a stress test like the Dr wanted. So she makes an appointment for me to get a stress test done. I report back to Dr Cooke and he sends his Technician (person who takes the blood pressure) in and has him ask me what type of test I would like to have run. I basically told him I wasnt a DR but I wanted to know why I couldnt work out without getting dizzy. (I had tried several times and it didnt get better). So Dr Cooke came in again and said basically I wasnt able to work out because of my weight. Then he got up and walked out of the room so I did the same thing. That day I wrote to the patient advocate stating everything that happened. Then I saw Dr. Brewer who signed me up for an Cardio Echo ( basically an ultra-sound of my heart.) It was really cool to see the pictures. (Oh by the way during this time they keep putting me on profiles.) So then he deploys and I have to see a new Dr. Dr Holden and she sits down and tells me about my echo says its normal. Then she states that we could do some pulaminary tests (tests on the lungs). But first she wants to get a second opion and who does she choose but Dr. Cooke (yes the same one I wrote a review about). Then she says (on his advice) I just need to start working out again. So she puts me on a profile but says that I can do the bike test. Meaning I have to do all the other stuff except for the 1.5 mile Ill ride a bike for 8 minutes and it calculates how fast oxygen (VO2) gets to my legs and back. So I practiced this today and the tester told me to have a shot at passing I would need the mid thirties well my score today was 23. Now I have to test in a week. Any suggestions?
